After download, the .zip file must be expanded. If you have Windows ME or XP, this can be done by right-clicking docsdiag.zip, and selecting Extract all.
The extracted files comprise docsdiag.jar (which contains the DoscDiag program, used on all platforms) plus some helper files (for Windows only).
Once Installed at a COMMAND PROMPT type or paste =
jview /cp docsdiag.jar docsdiag -cmip 172.25.123.98 -cmmac 002040789ABC
The number used after the -cmip. Can be found by doing a TRACEROUTE to your favorite website. Use the 1st hop IP as the number after the -cmip. The info after the -cmmac = Your Cable Modem MAC address.
